With Vogue American Express Fashion Night Out (VAEFNO) descending on the nation once more, Melbourne’s premium shopping destination, St. Collins Lane is partnering with some of the city’s most exciting emerging talent to create a visual spectacular set to impress.
A fusion of design, art, florals and fashion, “Design in Bloom: A Floral and Fashion Installation,” will launch at St. Collins Lane on Friday, 1 September alongside VAEFNO.
Drawing on its close relationship with the Council of Textiles and Fashion (CTF), St. Collins Lane has invited six promising Melbourne creators to interpret this year’s VAEFNO theme of ‘floral’ and develop breathtaking installations inspired by pieces from the spring collections of its retailers.
St. Collins Lane has selected Daisy Poiner of Cloth and Co, textile designer Marieke Bruins, RMIT visual merchandising student Neisha Dallamora, designer Suzan Dlouhy, couturier Tatyana Anderson and milliner Wendy Scully to transform the centre with their individual installations.
Design in Bloom: A Floral and Fashion Instillation will be open to the public from 9:00am on Friday, 1 September. Visitors to St. Collins Lane can enjoy the exhibition until Monday, 4 September.
Visitors will be able to take advantage of a number of exclusive offers and activities, have a sneak peek here.
