FashionPuma Meets The Kooples: Clyde Had Landed In Store
A sportswear classic married with the Rock’n’Roll DNA of a Parisian fashion house – The Kooples collaboration with PUMA is shaping up to be 2017’s coolest.
PUMA’s iconic Clyde sneaker has been reimagined with a contemporary interpretation by The Kooples.
Introduced in the 1970’s, the PUMA “Clyde” sneaker was named after basketball legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier. Frazier earned the moniker, a reference to Bonnie and Clyde, for his ability to steal the ball off his opponents.
Celebrated for his remarkable style on and off the basketball court, Frazier’s namesake low tops are timeless in design and aesthetic and a favourite amongst generations of sneaker lovers.
This latest iteration is made from leather and sports perforated lines instead of the normal side stripes. The sneaker also boasts The Kooples’ signature silver skull-head, a testament to the brand’s counter-culture rebellion attitude.
Available in all white or intense black colour ways, the PUMA Clyde The Kooples will be exclusively sold at The Kooples stores from late June.
The Kooples is open at St. Collins Lane on Ground Floor.
