Bremont is an award-winning British luxury watch brand and manufacturer of mechanical watches.

Founded in 2002 by British brothers, Nick and Giles English, Bremont originated from the brothers’ joint passion for engineering and aviation. From tragic beginnings, the brand was born in 1995 following a tragic plane crash that involved Nick and his father, Euan English. Whilst training for an air show in the UK their WWII Harvard aircraft was involved in an accident. Their father Euan died, and Nick survived the crash with over 30 broken bones. This accident was the tipping point in the brothers’ lives and was part of their decision to pursue what they enjoyed the most: a life crafting beautifully engineered mechanical device.

A year after the plane crash, Nick and Giles were back in the air flying across France in a 60-year-old-plane. Bad weather forced them to make an emergency landing in the Champagne region. The field they landed in was owned by an old farmer, who reminded them of their own father; he was a former WWII pilot and just as passionate about aircraft as Nick and Giles.

He kindly allowed the brothers to stay in his farmhouse for a few nights, which also housed a number of restored wall clocks – he also wore a particularly special wristwatch given to him by his father. His name was Antoine Bremont.

The brand remains true to its original principles of aviation and military, British engineering and adventure. As well as manufacturing watches for some of the most exclusive military squadrons around the world, Bremont continues to play an influential role in revitalising the British watch industry.

Bremont’s core values are adventure, engineering, military, and aviation – with the watches tested in these very fields by some of the world’s best explorers, military personnel, and pilots. True to their Tested Beyond Endurance philosophy, Bremont watches are incredibly tough and durable.

The limited edition Bremont Project Possible.

The Bremont Project Possible Limited Edition marks the ultimate mountaineering achievements by Bremont Ambassador Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja MBE, in which he tested Bremont’s watches in some of the harshest environments and terrain on Earth. Nims summited Earth’s 14 tallest mountains, all higher than 8,000m in less than 7 months, breaking the previous record of nearly 8 years and an additional 6 world records in the process.

To celebrate his remarkable achievement, Bremont is releasing the Limited Edition Bremont Project Possible. Limited to only 300 pieces, the GMT diver is based on Bremont’s celebrated Supermarine 500. Built from titanium and bronze, this timepiece features a dark blue dial with bronze bezel and a ceramic blue insert, paired with bronze hands. When you turn the watch over, it reveals an open case through where the rotor can be seen – this details the heights of each of the 14 mountains, in the order that Nims summited them.
